Hiring: Partnerships & Community Manager

Type: Part-time / Flexible (20-30 hours per month)
Reports to: Head of Operations
Location: Portland-Vancouver Metro (remote-friendly + in-person events)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Partnerships & Community Manager to help expand our presence among startups, founders, and growing businesses in the local Portland–Vancouver Metro area.

This person is a natural connector. Someone who loves meeting people, having conversations, understanding what they’re building and where they’re struggling, and spotting where our solutions could unlock growth. The role is centered on relationship building, ecosystem visibility, and founder insight gathering. A key part of success will be introducing aligned founders to a free, no-pressure 30-minute teardown of a core digital flow (homepage, signup, checkout, etc.) as a way to provide immediate value and start conversations.

This is not a hard sales position. It’s about building relationships and trust, leading with curiosity, and leaving the door open for when the time is right.

Our work spans positioning, brand identity design, UX, and web development of marketing websites and eCommerce experiences designed to create clarity, credibility, and measurable growth.

We partner closely with founders and internal teams, blending research, strategic design, and practical execution. Collaboration, curiosity, and long-term relationships are at the center of how we work. Some of our most recent clients have been non-profits across a variety of sectors like arts, entertainment, and humanitarian aid, and we’re looking to expand into more startups.

What You’ll Do

  • Attend local meetups, networking events, and tech gatherings.
  • Build authentic relationships with startup founders, small business owners, and community tech leaders.
  • Help us become a more recognizable and trusted presence within the local tech space.
  • Have conversations and identify what startups are struggling with across growth and their digital experience to help refine our positioning in the market.
  • Invite aligned contacts to a free 30-minute digital flow teardown and coordinate scheduling with leadership.
  • Track conversations and follow-ups in a simple CRM.
  • Help create long-term relationship pipelines.

Compensation

This role is expected to pay $20-25 per hour depending on experience and availability. Additional earnings come from 15% commission on closed deals you help originate.
